What Does the Following CT Scan Report Indicate?

Hi, I ve been having severe pain by my right ear and jaw for a year. Progressing to unbearable finally saw physician. Ct scan said final impression is: small amount of fluidwatching left Maxillary sinus, mild Ethmoid sinus mucosal thickening. In addition, left Osteameatal complex does appear obstructed without widening of the infundibulum. Cannot get Dr appt till next week. My question... my right hurts and this all says left, are they backwards? And whatever the above is, outs this what is possibly causing the pain?

Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Noted your history of severe pain in right ear and jaw for a year. This is always a clinical diagnosis done by a proper history and clinical examination .
Th CT scan showing small amount of fluidwatching left Maxillary sinus, mild Ethmoid sinus mucosal thickening. In addition, left Osteameatal complex does appear obstructed without widening of the infundibulum is definitely not related to the problem on the right side.

My thoughts:
Most probably you are suffering from TMJ (temporo-mandicular joint) arthralgia for which you have to consult an oral surgeon or a Dentist and get diagnosed and treated well.
